Fuel prices are expected to continue to rise ahead of inflation, benefits and lower incomes. The low heating demand of Passivhaus Buildings, of less than 15kWh per square metre per year, means that annual fuel costs are reduced by a factor of 5-10. For example, a household living in a 70m2 Passivhaus with gas heating could spend as little as £25 on space heating each year. – BRE (Building Research Establishment)
3rd Way Super Insulation now enables any house to be viably built or refurbished to enable “Passivhaus standards of 90% energy saving, comfort and health for all” as the first step towards a proposed complete, holistic and sustainable approach to transform wellbeing. Step 2 is Community Energy as a CIC which generates income from sales of heat and power to the greater community. This pays for the installation and can create net cash income to pay for care services required to transform wellbeing.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss the proposed more complete, holistic, self-funding 3rd Way Commonwealth approach to transform wellbeing.
